United Today, Stronger Tomorrow Colorado is a group of community members and local organizations working together to ensure an equitable recovery from Covid.

In February 2021, we conducted an issue identification process to better understand what Coloradans see as the biggest Covid-related issues in their lives. Dozens of one-on-ones and community meetings revealed that equitable vaccine access was the priority.

We gathered the specific demands around vaccine equity from 50+ organizations in a petition and in presentations for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Governor’s Office. The coalition of stakeholders involved in developing the demands continues to meet and inform the state of emerging Covid vaccination issues and needs.

In April 2021, we consulted statewide with 400 Coloradans impacted by Covid about how the nearly $6 billion in American Rescue Plan funds coming to the state should be spent. We are currently having conversations with local, state, and federal stakeholders and decision makers about the needs identified by our communities as the deadline for appropriations gets closer.

It’s not too late to share your ideas for how the money should be spent – take the survey!
