SLC Day of Action for Public Transit in the 435

Feb 21 | Utah State Capitol

On February 21st, join us in Salt Lake City to amplify our message, engage with policymakers, and kick-off our long term transit campaign.

problem

Communities outside of the Wasatch Front are not receiving their fair share of funding for critical transportation.

There is $47 million in state funding that can expand transit options for Utahn’s living in the 435, but the Utah Legislature has not committed to those funds.

solution

People from across the state will be coming to the State Capitol to present their concerns to our elected officials. We will be meeting with representatives from our districts and legislative leaders to make sure left-out Utah communities get their fair share!

We are a coalition of passionate individuals, community leaders, and organizations dedicated to improving public transit in regions of Utah that use the ‘435’ zip code. We're currently 10 counties collectively fighting to improve public transportation in our communities.
